Ely St John's Community Primary School is looking for a full-time Foundation Stage class teacher from September 2024

The post will be a permanent, full-time main scale role from September 2024, and will be for a Foundation Stage class.

We are a two-form entry school (thirteen classes – with two classes in Foundation Stage) with 371 pupils currently on roll and are able to offer:

  • a commitment to a broad and balanced curriculum that allows all pupils to succeed and belong
  • a strong team structure in Early Years and across the school with a deep commitment to staff professional development
  • positive relationships across the whole of our welcoming school community
  • a strong team of dedicated and experienced teaching assistants
  • eloquent, engaged and well behaved pupils who enjoy learning
  • a fantastic outdoor  learning environment which includes a large allotment and nature garden
  • a school committed to therapeutic behaviour management (Cambs Therapeutic Thinking training - CTT)

We are looking for:

  • an EYFS class teacher with high expectations and a commitment to pupil well being
  • a teacher committed to providing high-quality Early Years learning experiences for all pupils
  • a teacher with a desire to impact on every child in their care
  • a teacher committed to providing an exciting and stimulating Early Years environment for all pupils
